How many hours of coverage do we need?

We offer coverage for weddings ranging from 2 to 12 hours. Depending on your own schedule, we will provide the most effective solutions. You are very welcome to reach out to us for more details.

During portraits and the smaller directed moments, we bring energy and a light touch — enough guidance to feel easy, not enough to feel staged. During the ceremony, the vows, the speeches, we go quiet. We step back. We wait.

In editing, the look is clean and editorial: refined rather than heavy, timeless rather than trendy. Skin tones handled with care, light preserved rather than manufactured. Shaped by years of commercial fashion work and an eye trained across both North American and Asian aesthetics.

Do you photograph tea ceremonies?

Yes — and we believe the tea ceremony deserves the same editorial depth as the Western ceremony that follows it.

Our Two-Day Tea Ceremony & Wedding collection is designed specifically for families honouring both traditions. Day one is dedicated to the tea ceremony: the rituals, the elders, the intimacy of the room. Day two is the full Western wedding. Both days are covered by the same team, in the same visual language — so the album reads as one continuous story, not two separate bookings stitched together.
Choosing this collection over booking separately also saves $980 CAD. More importantly, it means the light, the editing, and the eye remain consistent across both days.

How far in advance should we book — and what does the booking process look like?

Most couples reach out 6 to 18 months before their wedding date, particularly for peak summer and autumn Saturdays in Vancouver. That said, we do occasionally have availability for shorter lead times — it's always worth asking.

The process begins with a conversation. We respond personally to every inquiry within two business days. If our approach feels right for your day, we'll schedule a consultation — unhurried, and focused on understanding the rhythm and atmosphere you're hoping to preserve. A digital contract and deposit secure your date. The balance is due closer to the wedding.

We'd rather spend time getting to know your story than rushing through paperwork. That's where it actually begins.

How many photographers will be at my wedding?

More than most couples expect — and for good reason.
A wedding unfolds in two places at once. The lead photographer cannot be everywhere. The reverse angle during the ceremony, the groom's quiet hour, the guest who weeps unnoticed — these belong to a second lens. In many galleries, they become the images returned to most.

Collections I–III include one lead photographer. From Collection IV (8 hours) onwards, a second photographer is standard. Our Signature and Grand Celebration collections also include an assistant. A third photographer is available as an add-on for multi-venue days or simultaneous preparations.

How many hours of coverage do we need?

The honest answer: most couples underestimate.
The later chapters of a wedding day — the speeches, the first dances, the unscripted moments between — are consistently what people wish they had more of, in retrospect.
As a rough guide: 6 hours covers ceremony through early reception. 8 hours adds getting ready and carries the evening further. 10 hours — our most-chosen collection — covers a full day across locations without compromise. 12 hours is for celebrations that begin early and end late.
