The garden held its breath.

Sunlight filtered through the trees, brushing gold across the path.

He stood still,

back turned,

hands folded gently in front of him.

Waiting.

Not nervous — just ready.

And then,

the soft sound of a dress brushing against stone.

She walked slowly toward him,

each step full of quiet excitement.

A smile already blooming before he could even see her.

before the ceremony,

before the vows,

before everyone else.

Just them.

Just love.

And just the beginning.
